Vine Covered Branch by Kathleen Haynes

A photo of an item called Vine Covered Branch

This vine covered branch was taken from a pattern by Dalene Kellys in her book "More French Beaded Flowers" but whereas she "climbed" hers up a bird house, I "draped" mine along a branch taken from our lilac tree.

The trumpet flowers were beaded in size 11 seed beads using two shades of salmon mixed together and the green leaves comprise of matt and shiny beads. All petals and leaves were formed on 24 gauge wire with the exception of the stamens which are white beads on gold 30 gauge wire.

If you can make out the bird (on the extreme left), he was also beaded in size 11 green seed beads with grey added to his wings and tail.
