Description:
This workshop is currently full.
This is a two day class, and will take place on Thursday and Friday.
Create an exquisitely delicate but practical evening bag using right angle weave in an innovative combination of two sizes of beads. The strap to the bag is decorated with butterflies settling on buddleia blooms and leaves. The strap is detachable and, once separated from the bag, can be worn as a lariat.
Level: Intermediate and advanced. Participants must have a good working knowledge of right angle weave and peyote stitch. They must also expect to work primarily in size 15 seed beads for this class.
About The Tutor:
Liz Thornton is well known as a beadworker with a passion for sharing her knowledge and love of the craft with others through her teaching and writing. Her most recent publication is The Beader’s Floral (jointly with Jill Devon).
