Welcome to The Great British Bead Show 2011 Workshop Schedule!

The Show gets off to an exciting start on Thursday with Valerie Hector teaching a Masterclass for experienced beaders and for the very first time we offer additional classes on Thursday with some of our leading UK tutors.

After dinner you have the opportunity to ‘meet and mingle’ at our informal social gathering.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday we have selected a variety of subjects featuring different techniques, mixed media and lots of colour to tempt and inspire you, from some of your favourite tutors and some new tutors too.

We have tried to guide you in the workshop descriptions, however if you are in any doubt as to which classes you will benefit from most, contact: Sylvia Fairhurst 01908 311243, who will be happy to talk things through with you.

Selection process

Details of all the classes are given on this site. You have the agonising task of selecting your favourites, please indicate your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice classes for each day on the booking form. Class sizes will not exceed 18, most will accommodate only 15. If minimum numbers are not achieved for a particular calss, we reserve the right to cancel that class and refund you all monies paid or to transfer you to another available class of your choice. If you need to cancel  or change your booking up to 4 weeks before the event, please get in touch with us. We will offer a full refund of your class(es). After that time we regret there will be no refunds. Please do let us know if you are unable to come at the last minute, if we have a waiting list as in previous years, we can offer your place to someone else and avoid the hotel invoicing you for cancellation fees.

The class selection process is by draw to be fair to everyone. To be eligible for the draw your competed form must reach us by 6th December 2008. Bookings received after 6th December will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Confirmation of places will be sent to you by 31st Jan 2009 with details of how to get to the Daventry Hotel. You will also receive information about your chosen workshops and individual class requirements lists.  If you are not able to obtain these materials before you come to the class, do not worry as materials will be available from the Show Shop at the hotel from Friday morning onwards (please note, this service will not be available for the Masterclass).

After the initial draw, details of any remaining places will be posted on the website for late comers to consider.
