The BWG Journal

The Journal is a quarterly magazine for members of the Beadworkers Guild and is dedicated to beading. It is packed full of projects, features, reviews and lots more. This is the only British magazine that specialises in beadweaving and it is not available in the shops. So if you are not already a member of the Guild, what are you waiting for?

 Meet the Team

Below are some of the members of the Journal team but there are many other people who help to put the Journal together including members who volunteer to help with diagrams, pattern testing and proofing.

Journal Editor
Jane Marie Griffin 

 Jane oversees all content, planning and production of the Journal. She writes up all of the projects, some features and some regular articles. 

Deputy Editor
Beth Newton 

 Beth supports Jane in the planning of the Journal, oversees the feature articles and all of the reviews.

Advertising
Helen Pocock

 Helen is responsible for all of the advertising in the Journal and liaising with the traders on behalf of the Journal.

Free Patterns & 
Downloads

We have lots of patterns and downloads to accompany the Journal. Just go to the Members' area of the website to download them for free. 
There are basic stitch instructions if you are struggling with a pattern or just need a reminder of a stitch. 
There are also lots of free patterns and features available, which are being added to all the time. So do take a regular look in the Members' area for new updates!
